REDIST.EXE is a re-distribution server.
It accepts personal messages addressed to LOCBBS, LOCAL, REGION, NATION,
and creates bulletins to distributions associated with those names.
The association between REDIST names and your local distribution names
is provided in file REDIST.MB, which must be located in your configuration
directory.
REDIST.MB should contain four lines like this example:
locbbs pdx
local or
region pnw
nation usa
The proper entry in server.mb for redist is:
redist.out h8 redist.exe redist.in h8
locbbs local region nation
Message sytax:
Sp Redist @ Distribution name will create a bulletin based on the
system distributors.
For example:
SP Redist @ USA will create a bulletin to be distributed to the USA
bulletin distributor. (National)
SP Redist @ OR will create a bulletin to be distributed to the OR
distributor (State)
SP Redist @ PNW will create a bulletin to be distributed to the Pacific
Northwest distributor. (Regional)
SP Redist @ pdx will create bulletin to the be distributed to the
local BBS of PDX.
The distributors should be arranged such that they define the local bbs,
the local lan or lans, the state and the national bulletin distributors.
This server will allow the users of other areas to flood bulletins into
a specific area of interest based on the type of distributor desired.
